Amaryl (glimepiride) is an oral diabetes medicine that helps control blood sugar levels.

Amaryl is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This medicine is not for treating type 1 diabetes.

Insulin or other diabetes medicines are sometimes used in combination with Amaryl if needed.

Glasdegib maleate is a hedgehog pathway inhibitor indicated, in combination with low-dose cytarabine, for the treatment of newly-diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) in adult patients who are ≥75 years old or who have comorbidities that preclude use of intensive induction chemotherapy.

Glasdegib maleate has not been studied in patients with the comorbidities of severe renal impairment or moderate-to-severe hepatic impairment.
