Ask your doctor before using prochlorperazine together with ethanol. This can cause uncontrollable movements, agitation, seizures, severe dizziness or fainting, coma, very deep sleep, irregular heartbeats, and high or low body temperature. GENERALLY AVOID: Concurrent use of ethanol and phenothiazines may result in additive CNS depression and psychomotor impairment. MANAGEMENT: Patients should be advised to avoid alcohol during phenothiazine therapy.
