Abstral (fentanyl) is an opioid pain medication. An opioid is sometimes called a narcotic.

Abstral sublingual tablets are used to treat "breakthrough" cancer pain that is not controlled by other medicines.

The sublingual tablet is placed on the floor of the mouth under your tongue (sublingual) and allowed to dissolve.

Abstral is not for treating pain that is not cancer-related.

Bremelanotide acetate is a melanocortin receptor agonist indicated for the treatment of premenopausal women with acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) as characterized by low sexual desire that causes marked distress or interpersonal difficulty and is NOT due to: a co-existing medical or psychiatric condition, problems with the relationship, or the effects of a medication or drug substance.

Not indicated for treatment of HSDD in postmenopausal women or in men.

Not indicated to enhance sexual performance.
