Acetaminophen injection is used together with other medicines (eg, narcotic pain relievers) to relieve moderate to severe pain.

Acetaminophen is used to relieve mild to moderate pain and reduce fever in patients. It does not become habit-forming when taken for a long time. Acetaminophen may cause unwanted effects when taken in large doses, including liver damage.

Brompheniramine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.

Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. It affects the signals in the brain that trigger cough reflex.

Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passages. Dilated blood vessels can cause nasal congestion (stuffy nose).

Brompheniramine, dextromethorphan, and pseudoephedrine is a combination medicine used to treat cough, runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.

brompheniramine, dextromethorphan, and pseudoephedrine will not treat a cough that is caused by smoking, asthma, or emphysema.
