Naphazoline is a vasoconstrictor. It works by narrowing swollen blood vessels in the eyes to reduce eye redness.

Allersol (for the eye) is for temporary relief of minor eye redness or discomfort caused by minor irritants.

Allersol may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

• This medicine is not for use in children younger than 18 years of age. The benefits of taking Z-Tuss AC (codeine and chlorpheniramine liquid) for a cough due to allergies, a cold, or other infection do not outweigh the risks in children. If your child has been given Z-Tuss AC (codeine and chlorpheniramine liquid) or if you have any questions, talk with your child's doctor.
