Codeine is a narcotic cough suppressant. It affects the signals in the brain that trigger cough reflex.

Guaifenesin is an expectorant. It helps loosen congestion in your chest and throat, making it easier to cough out through your mouth.

Allfen CD is a combination medicine used to treat cough and chest congestion caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.

Allfen CD will not treat a cough that is caused by smoking, asthma, or emphysema.

Imbruvica (ibrutinib) is a cancer medicine that interferes with the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body.

Imbruvica is used to treat mantle cell lymphoma, marginal zone lymphoma, Waldenstrom's macroglobulinemia, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and small lymphocytic lymphoma. This medicine is also used to treat chronic graft-versus-host disease.

Imbruvica is usually given after other treatments have have not been effective.

Imbruvica was approved to treat mantle cell and marginal lymphomas by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on an "accelerated" basis. In clinical studies, some people responded to this medicine, but further studies are needed.
