Professional:MONITOR: Concomitant administration of allopurinol may increase cyclosporine blood concentrations. The mechanism is unknown. The risk of cyclosporine-induced nephrotoxicity and neurotoxicity may be increased.
MANAGEMENT: Cyclosporine levels and renal function, including serum creatinine, should be carefully monitored. The dosage should be adjusted as needed.
