Alpelisib is used in men and postmenopausal women with HR-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer that is advanced or has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic).

Alpelisib is used only if your cancer has a specific genetic marker (an abnormal "PIK3CA" gene). Your doctor will test you for this gene.

Alpelisib is given in combination with fulvestrant (Faslodex).

Aspirin extended-release capsules are used to lower risk of heart attack in patients with chronic coronary artery disease, such as patients with history of heart attack or angina (severe chest pain).
