Alprostadil urethral suppository is used to treat men who have erectile dysfunction (also called sexual impotence). It belongs to a group of medicines called vasodilators that can increase blood flow by expanding blood vessels. Alprostadil causes an erection because it increases the blood flow to the penis.

Alprostadil should not be used as a sexual aid by men who do not have erectile dysfunction. If the medicine is not used properly, permanent damage to the penis and loss of the ability to have erections could result.

Alprostadil is available only with your doctor's prescription.

Diacomit (stiripentol) is a prescription medicine used to treat seizures associated with Dravet syndrome. Dravet syndrome is a rare chronic form of epilepsy that begins in the first year of life and causes frequent or prolonged seizures.

Diacomit is used along with clobazam for use in adults and children at least 2 years old.

It is not known if Diacomit is safe and effective in children under 2 years of age.

There is no clinical data to support the use of Diacomit alone to treat Dravet syndrome.
