Professional:Coadministration of ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel with ticagrelor increased the ethinyl estradiol systemic exposure (AUC) by approximately 20%, but did not alter the pharmacokinetics of levonorgestrel. No clinically relevant effect on oral contraceptive efficacy is expected when ethinyl estradiol and/or levonorgestrel are coadministered with ticagrelor.
