Penicillins are used to treat infections caused by bacteria. They work by killing the bacteria or preventing their growth.

Tbo-filgrastim (Granix) is a man-made form of a protein that stimulates the growth of white blood cells in your body. White blood cells help your body fight against infection.

Tbo-filgrastim is used to reduce the duration of severe neutropenia, a lack of certain white blood cells caused by receiving chemotherapy with certain cancer medications.

Tbo-filgrastim is for use in adults and children who are least 1 month old.
