Anagrelide hydrochloride and Mucinex Fast-Max Night Time Cold and Flu
Determining the interaction of Anagrelide hydrochloride and Mucinex Fast-Max Night Time Cold and Flu and the possibility of their joint administration.
In the database of official manuals used in the service creation an interaction registered by statistical results of studies was found, which can either lead to negative consequences for the patient health or strengthen a mutual positive effect. A doctor should be consulted to address the issue of joint drug administration.
Consumer:Anagrelide may increase the blood levels and effects of acetaminophen. You may need a dose adjustment or more frequent monitoring by your doctor to safely use both medications. Contact your doctor if your condition changes or you experience increased side effects. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
Professional:MONITOR: Theoretically, coadministration with anagrelide may increase the plasma concentrations and the risk of toxicity of drugs that are substrates of CYP450 1A2. The proposed mechanism, based on in vitro data, is decreased clearance due to anagrelide-mediated inhibition of CYP450 1A2 metabolism.
MANAGEMENT: Until more information is available, caution is advised if anagrelide is used concomitantly with drugs that are substrates of CYP450 1A2, particularly those with a narrow therapeutic range. Dosage adjustments as well as clinical and laboratory monitoring may be appropriate for some drugs whenever anagrelide is added to or withdrawn from therapy. Patients should be monitored for the development of adverse effects.
