Asmanex contains mometasone furoate, a corticosteroid medicine. Mometasone furoate prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

Asmanex is used to prevent asthma attacks.

Asmanex will not treat an asthma attack that has already begun.

Insta-Char is used to treat stomach pain caused by excess gas, diarrhea, or indigestion.

Insta-Char also is used to relieve itching related to kidney dialysis treatment and to treat poisoning or drug overdose.
