Boceprevir is used in combination with injectable peginterferon alfa (Pegasys®, Pegintron®) and ribavirin (Copegus®, Rebetol®) to treat chronic hepatitis C infection. Boceprevir is a direct-acting antiviral agent that treats hepatitis C infection.
