BeneFIX is a man-made protein similar to a natural protein in the body that helps the blood to clot.

BeneFIX is used to treat or prevent bleeding in people with hemophilia B. This medication is not for treating people with hemophilia A factor VIII deficiency.

Catapres (clonidine) lowers blood pressure by decreasing the levels of certain chemicals in your blood. This allows your blood vessels to relax and your heart to beat more slowly and easily.

The Catapres brand of clonidine is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). The Kapvay brand of clonidine is used to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The Duraclon brand of clonidine is an intravenous (IV) form of clonidine used to treat severe pain in cancer patients.
