In previous studies of bimatoprost for the treatment of ocular hypertension, it has been shown that exposure of the eye to more than one dose of bimatoprost daily may decrease the IOP-lowering effect. Therefore, topical administration of bimatoprost to the eyelid in conjunction with ocular instillation of IOP-lowering prostaglandin analogs may decrease the IOP-lowering effect in ocular hypertensive patients.

MANAGEMENT: Patients using these products concomitantly should be closely monitored for changes to their intraocular pressure.
