Mouse mammary tumor cells exposed to a high concentration of black cohosh (100 times the recommended dose) were found to be more sensitive to docetaxel or doxorubicin than were cells treated with each of the agents alone or the agent plus vehicle. The clinical significance in humans is unknown.
