Brodalumab injection is used to treat moderate to severe plaque psoriasis in patients who may benefit from receiving phototherapy (ultraviolet light treatment) or other treatments. Plaque psoriasis is a skin disease with red patches and white scales that don't go away.

Brodalumab is only available through a restricted access program. Doctors who are enrolled in the restricted program can write a prescription for brodalumab.

Levonorgestrel is a female hormone that can cause changes in your cervix, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus. Kyleena is a plastic device that is placed in the uterus where it slowly releases the hormone to prevent pregnancy for up to 5 years.

Kyleena is used to prevent pregnancy for up to 5 years. You may use this device whether you have children or not. Mirena is also used to treat heavy menstrual bleeding in women who choose to use an intrauterine form of birth control.

Levonorgestrel is a progestin hormone and does not contain estrogen. The intrauterine device (IUD) releases levonorgestrel in the uterus, but only small amounts of the hormone reach the bloodstream. Kyleena should not be used as emergency birth control.
