Dexchlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.

Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant. It affects the signals in the brain that trigger cough reflex.

Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant that shrinks blood vessels in the nasal passages. Dilated blood vessels can cause nasal congestion (stuffy nose).

Bromatan Plus is a combination medicine used to treat runny or stuffy nose, sneezing, itching, watery eyes, cough, and sinus congestion caused by allergies, the common cold, or the flu.

Bromatan Plus will not treat a cough that is caused by smoking, asthma, or emphysema.

Consider potential benefits and risks of meclofenamate sodium therapy as well as alternative therapies before initiating therapy with the drug. Use lowest effective dosage and shortest duration of therapy consistent with the patient’s treatment goals.

Symptomatic treatment of acute and chronic osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Has been used with some success in a limited number of adults with ankylosing spondylitis or acute gouty arthritis.

Has been used in a limited number of patients with psoriatic arthritis.

Relief of mild to moderate pain in adults.

Treatment of primary dysmenorrhea.

Treatment of idiopathic menorrhagia. Use only for heavy menstrual flow that is idiopathic (i.e., no underlying pathophysiologic cause can be identified); do not use for the management of spotting or bleeding that occurs between menstrual cycles.

Use for primary dysmenorrhea or idiopathic menorrhagia only when the potential benefits justify the possible risks.
