Carbetapentane is a cough suppressant.

Chlorpheniramine is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.

C-Tanna 12 is a combination medicine is used to treat cough, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes caused by allergies or the common cold.

This medication will not treat a cough that is caused by smoking, asthma, or emphysema.

Symptomatic treatment of dry mouth (xerostomia) in patients with Sjögren syndrome.

There are few comparative studies of cevimeline and pilocarpine (a similar muscarinic agonist). Although both drugs can increase salivary flow and improve symptoms of dry mouth, adverse effects may differ based on differences in selectivity and affinity for muscarinic receptors. (See Actions.)
