Captopril and hydrochlorothiazide combination is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). High blood pressure adds to the work load of the heart and arteries. Viekira is used to treat chronic hepatitis C in adults. It is sometimes given in combination with another antiviral medicine called ribavirin.
