Methsuximide is used to control absence (petit mal) seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. It is used after other medicines have been tried, but are unable to control the seizures. This medicine is an anticonvulsant that works in the brain tissue to stop seizures.

Heartburn Relief is used to treat and prevent ulcers in the stomach and intestines. It also treats conditions in which the stomach produces too much acid, such as Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Heartburn Relief also treats gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and other conditions in which acid backs up from the stomach into the esophagus, causing heartburn.
