Methsuximide is used to control absence (petit mal) seizures in the treatment of epilepsy. It is used after other medicines have been tried, but are unable to control the seizures. This medicine is an anticonvulsant that works in the brain tissue to stop seizures.

Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation.

Capsaicin and diclofenac topical (for the skin) is a combination medicine used to treat joint pain, stiffness, and swelling caused by osteoarthritis of the knees. capsaicin and diclofenac may not be effective in treating arthritis pain elsewhere in the body.
