According to the product labeling, cimetidine (400 mg four times a day for 7 days) increased the peak plasma concentration (Cmax) and area under the concentration-time curve (AUC) of gemifloxacin (320 mg single dose) by an average of 6% and 10%, respectively. These increases are not considered clinically significant.
