Cimzia (certolizumab)reduces the effects of a substance in the body that can cause inflammation.

Cimzia is used to treat the symptoms of Crohn's disease after other treatments have failed.

Cimzia is also used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, plaque psoriasis, and non-radiographic axial spondyloarthritis.

Has been used in the treatment of major depressive disorder and is approved for treating depression in some countries; this indication is not an FDA-labeled use.

Insufficient data, to date, to determine if efficacy and tolerability of milnacipran as an antidepressant are superior, inferior, or equal to that of other antidepressants for acute treatment of major depressive disorder. Some studies indicate improved tolerability with milnacipran when compared with tricyclic antidepressants.
