Clindamycin injection is used to treat bacterial infections. Clindamycin is given to patients who had an allergic reaction to penicillin. Clindamycin injection will not work for colds, flu, or other virus infections.

Lefamulin acetate is a pleuromutilin antibacterial indicated in adults for the treatment of community-acquired bacterial pneumonia (CABP) caused by susceptible microorganisms.

To reduce the development of drug resistant bacteria and maintain the effectiveness of lefamulin acetate and other antibacterial drugs, lefamulin acetate should be used only to treat or prevent infections that are proven or strongly suspected to be caused by bacteria.
