A 3-fold increase in plasma concentrations of N-desmethylclobazam has been reported, which may result in increased risk of clobazam-related adverse reactions. Increased risk of cannabidiol-related hepatotoxicity has also been reported during coadministration with clobazam.

MANAGEMENT: Caution is advised when clobazam is coadministered with cannabidiol. Consider a dosage reduction of clobazam if adverse reactions known to occur with clobazam are experienced with cannabidiol.
