Constulose is a type of sugar. It is broken down in the large intestine into mild acids that draw water into the colon, which helps soften the stools.

Constulose is used to treat chronic constipation.

Constulose is sometimes used to treat or prevent certain conditions of the brain that are caused by liver failure, which can lead to confusion, problems with memory or thinking, behavior changes, tremors, feeling irritable, sleep problems, loss of coordination, and loss of consciousness.

Descovy contains a combination of emtricitabine and tenofovir alafenamide. Emtricitabine and tenofovir alafenamide are antiviral medicines that prevent human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from multiplying in your body. Descovy is a presciption medicine used to treat HIV, the virus that can cause acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). Descovy is also used for pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) to reduce the risk of HIV-1 infection. If you have an allergy to emtricitabine, tenofovir, or any other part of Descovy (emtricitabine and tenofovir alafenamide). If you are allergic to any drugs like this one, any other drugs, foods, or other substances. Tell your doctor about the allergy and what signs you had, like rash; hives; itching; shortness of breath; wheezing; cough; swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat; or any other signs. If you have kidney disease. If you are taking another drug that has the same drug in it. If you are taking any of these drugs: Rifabutin, rifampin, rifapentine, St. John's wort, or tipranavir plus ritonavir. If you are taking any drugs that can raise the chance of kidney problems. There are many drugs that can do this. Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure. If you are breast-feeding. Do not breast-feed while you take Descovy.
