Using burosumab together with etelcalcetide may cause a condition known as hypocalcemia, or low blood calcium. MONITOR: Coadministration of burosumab with calcimimetic drugs, such as cinacalcet, may potentially exacerbate hypocalcemia. The mechanism for this interaction has not been delineated.
