Professional:Coadministration with rifampin has been shown to slightly decrease the plasma concentrations of dapagliflozin. When a single 10 mg dose of dapagliflozin was given with rifampin (600 mg once daily for 6 days), an inducer of various active transporters and hepatic microsomal enzymes, dapagliflozin peak plasma concentration (Cmax) and systemic exposure (AUC) decreased by an average of 7% and 22%, respectively, compared to dapagliflozin administered alone. These changes are not considered clinically significant, and no dosage adjustment is recommended for dapagliflozin.
