MONITOR: Rifampin may decrease plasma concentrations of dapsone by inducing its CYP450 3A4 hepatic metabolism.

MANAGEMENT: Patients on concomitant therapy should be monitored for inadequate response to dapsone. Dosages should be adjusted as necessary.
