Daunorubicin and cytarabine injection is used to treat therapy-related acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or AML with myelodysplasia-related changes (AML-MRC).

Daunorubicin and cytarabine liposome interferes with the growth of cancer cells, which are eventually destroyed by the body. Since the growth of normal body cells may also be affected by doxorubicin and cytarabine liposome, other unwanted side effects will also occur. Some of these may be serious and must be reported to your doctor.

Levonorgestrel is a female hormone that can cause changes in your cervix, making it harder for sperm to reach the uterus and harder for a fertilized egg to attach to the uterus. Kyleena is a plastic device that is placed in the uterus where it slowly releases the hormone to prevent pregnancy for up to 5 years.

Kyleena is used to prevent pregnancy for up to 5 years. You may use this device whether you have children or not. Mirena is also used to treat heavy menstrual bleeding in women who choose to use an intrauterine form of birth control.

Levonorgestrel is a progestin hormone and does not contain estrogen. The intrauterine device (IUD) releases levonorgestrel in the uterus, but only small amounts of the hormone reach the bloodstream. Kyleena should not be used as emergency birth control.
