It is used for patients who have primary humoral immunodeficiency (PI), including congenital agammaglobulinemia, common variable immunodeficiency, X-linked agammaglobulinemia, Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome, and other severe combined immune system problems. It is also used to raise your platelet counts to control or prevent bleeding in adult patients with chronic immune thrombocytopenia (ITP).
