Delafloxacin is used to treat acute bacterial skin and skin structure infections (ABSSSI).

Delafloxacin belongs to the class of drugs, known as quinolone antibiotics. It works by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. However, delafloxacin will not work for colds, flu, or other virus infections.
