Diazepam is a benzodiazepine (ben-zoe-dye-AZE-eh-peen). Diazepam affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced in people with seizures.

Diastat Pediatric (for use in the rectum) is used to treat occasionally increased seizures (cluster seizures) in people with epilepsy who also routinely take other anti-convulsants. This medicine is not for long-term daily use to prevent seizures.

Diclofenac is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation.

Capsaicin and diclofenac topical (for the skin) is a combination medicine used to treat joint pain, stiffness, and swelling caused by osteoarthritis of the knees. capsaicin and diclofenac may not be effective in treating arthritis pain elsewhere in the body.
