Consumer:

Using diazoxide and hydrALAZINE together may lower your blood pressure and slow your heart rate. This can cause a slow heartbeat, headaches, dizziness, or feeling like you might pass out. Tell your doctor if you have any of these symptoms. You may need a dose adjustment or need your blood pressure checked more often if you take both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Professional:

MONITOR: The hypotensive effects of diazoxide and other vasodilator or catecholamine-depleting agents may be additive. Cases of fatal hypotension have been reported with the use of parenteral diazoxide and hydralazine. Although oral diazoxide does not significantly affect blood pressure, its drug product labeling cautions that it may enhance the antihypertensive effects of other medications..

MANAGEMENT: Blood pressure monitoring may be advisable during coadministration.
