Using digoxin together with moricizine may alter the effects of digoxin. Contact your doctor if you experience irregular heartbeats, abnormally fast or slow heartbeats, or any other heart abnormalities. If your doctor does prescribe these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or special test to safely use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Professional:

MONITOR: Moricizine does not significantly affect the pharmacokinetics of digoxin in patients with normal renal function. However, because of possible additive effects on AV conduction, prolongation of the PR interval and AV conduction disturbances are predicted.

MANAGEMENT: The electrocardiogram should be closely monitored during coadministration.
