Epirubicin injection is used together with other cancer medicines to treat cancers of the breast, lungs, lymph system, stomach, and ovaries.

Epirubicin belongs to the group of medicines called antineoplastics. It interferes with the growth of cancer cells, which are eventually destroyed.
