Fentanyl buccal or sublingual products are used in the mouth but not swallowed whole. Fentanyl buccal is placed inside the mouth between the cheek and gum. Fentanyl sublingual is placed under the tongue.

Fentanyl buccal/sublingual is an opioid pain medicine used to treat "breakthrough" cancer pain that is not controlled by other medicines. fentanyl is not for treating pain that is not cancer-related.

Ethiodized oil injection is an oil-based radiopaque contrast agent. Contrast agents are used to help create a clear picture of the body during different medical procedures. These include:

• Hysterosalpingography (x-ray test that looks inside the uterus and fallopian tubes) in adults
• Lymphography (x-ray test that looks at the lymph vessels of the feet or hands) in adults and children
• Imaging of liver tumors in adults.
