Flavoxate Hydrochloride and Taclonex

Symptomatic relief of dysuria, urgency, nocturia, suprapubic pain, frequency and incontinence associated with cystitis, prostatitis, urethritis, urethrocystitis, or urethrotrigonitis. Not indicated as definitive treatment, but is compatible with drugs used for treatment of urinary tract infections.

Has not been shown to be more effective in the treatment of these conditions than antimuscarinic agents.

Taclonex contains a combination of betamethasone and calcipotriene. Betamethasone is a steroid. It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation. Calcipotriene is a form of vitamin D. It works by decreasing the rate of skin cell reproduction.

Taclonex topical (for the skin) is a combination medicine used to treat plaque psoriasis.

Adults may use the suspension (liquid) form of this medicine on the skin or the scalp. The liquid may be used only on the scalp in children who are at least 12 years old.

Taclonex topical ointment should be used only on the skin and only by adults.
