Flovent (fluticasone) is a corticosteroid. It prevents the release of substances in the body that cause inflammation.

Flovent is used to prevent asthma attacks. This medicine will not treat an asthma attack that has already begun.

Flovent is sometimes used together with steroid medicine taken by mouth. This medicine is for use in adults and children who are at least 4 years old.

Tolbutamide causes the pancreas to produce insulin and increases your body's response to it.

Tolbutamide is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Tolbutamide is not for treating type 1 diabetes.
