Folacin-800 is a type of B vitamin that is normally found in foods such as dried beans, peas, lentils, oranges, whole-wheat products, liver, asparagus, beets, broccoli, brussels sprouts, and spinach.

Folacin-800 helps your body produce and maintain new cells, and also helps prevent changes to DNA that may lead to cancer.

As a medication, Folacin-800 is used to treat this medicine deficiency and certain types of anemia (lack of red blood cells) caused by this medicine deficiency.

Folacin-800 is sometimes used in combination with other medications to treat pernicious anemia. However, this medicine will not treat Vitamin B12 deficiency and will not prevent possible damage to the spinal cord. Take all of your medications as directed.

Nifedipine is used alone or together with other medicines to treat severe chest pain (angina) or high blood pressure (hypertension). Nifedipine is a calcium channel blocker. It works by affecting the movement of calcium into the cells of the heart and blood vessels. As a result, nifedipine relaxes blood vessels and increases the supply of blood and oxygen to the heart while reducing its workload.
