Using cycloSPORINE together with griseofulvin may increase the effects of cycloSPORINE. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

MONITOR: Griseofulvin may decrease serum cyclosporine concentrations by an unknown mechanism. Loss of efficacy may occur.

MANAGEMENT: Monitoring of cyclosporine levels during concomitant administration is recommended, as is close observation of the patient for signs of rejection or toxicity when griseofulvin is added to or discontinued from therapy. Dose adjustments may be required.
