Lumacaftor should also be avoided in patients receiving certain antibiotics (e.g., clarithromycin, erythromycin, telithromycin) and azole antifungal agents (e.g., itraconazole, ketoconazole, posaconazole, voriconazole). Alternatives to these agents should be considered.
