In 9 hepatitis C virus (HCV)-infected patients post-liver transplant, administration of cyclosporine with simeprevir 150 mg once daily for 7 days led to a 4.74-fold increase in the mean plasma concentration (Cmax) and a 5.81-fold increase in systemic exposure (AUC) of simeprevir.

MANAGEMENT: Coadministration of cyclosporine and simeprevir should be avoided.
