Immune globulin is a sterilized solution made from human plasma. It contains the antibodies to help your body protect itself against infection from various diseases.

Immune globulin intravenous and subcutaneous (for injection into a vein or under the skin) is used to treat primary immunodeficiency (PI), idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP), or chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP). This medication is also used to improve muscle strength in adults with multifocal motor neuropathy.

Librax is a capsule containing a combination of chlordiazepoxide and clidinium. Chlordiazepoxide is a benzodiazepine that affects chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced. Clidinium reduces stomach acid and decreases intestinal spasms.

Librax is a medicine that may be effective in treating stomach ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, or symptoms related to intestinal infection. Librax is given together with other medications to treat these conditions.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has determined that Librax is "possibly" effective in treating these conditions.
