Incivek and Isentress

Coadministration with telaprevir may modestly increase the plasma concentrations of raltegravir. The mechanism of interaction has not been established. When telaprevir 750 mg every 8 hours and raltegravir 400 mg every 12 hours were given together in 20 study subjects, mean raltegravir peak plasma concentration (Cmax), systemic exposure (AUC) and trough plasma concentration (Cmin) were increased by 26%, 31% and 78%, respectively. Raltegravir did not have a clinically meaningful effect on the pharmacokinetics of telaprevir. No dosage adjustment is required for raltegravir or telaprevir during coadministration.
