Long-term maintenance treatment of airflow obstruction associated with COPD, including chronic bronchitis and/or emphysema.

Not indicated for treatment of acute deterioration of COPD or relief of acute symptoms (i.e., as rescue therapy for treatment of acute episodes of bronchospasm). (See Deterioration of Disease and Acute Episodes under Cautions.)

Silphen Cough is an antihistamine that reduces the effects of natural chemical histamine in the body. Histamine can produce symptoms of sneezing, itching, watery eyes, and runny nose.

Silphen Cough is used to treat sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, hives, skin rash, itching, and other cold or allergy symptoms.

Silphen Cough is also used to treat motion sickness, to induce sleep, and to treat certain symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
