Using indomethacin together with tiludronate may increase the effects of tiludronate. Indomethacin should be administered at least two hours before or two hours after tiludronate. Contact your doctor if your condition changes. If your doctor does prescribe these medications together, you may need a dose adjustment or special test to safely use both medications. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Professional:

ADJUST DOSING INTERVAL: The bioavailability of tiludronate is increased 2 to 4 times in patients receiving concomitant indomethacin. The mechanism of the interaction is not known.

MANAGEMENT: The manufacturer recommends that indomethacin should not be taken within 2 hours before or 2 hours after tiludronate.
