Consumer:Using meperidine together with isoniazid may cause low blood pressure and increased side effects. Professional:MONITOR: During concomitant use of meperidine and isoniazid, hypotension and CNS depression have been observed. The mechanism is unknown.
MANAGEMENT: Patients should be closely monitored for hypotension and CNS depression if these drugs must be used together.
